Pisac Inca Trail
Overview
Pisac is almost always visited by car, from the car park. This hike takes you in the way people used to arrive: along a stretch of original Inca trail, with the valley opening up below.
The route is moderate, with no technical sections, and it shows how the territory was organised: farming terraces, water channels, checkpoints and the cemetery carved into the cliff face.
On reaching the Pisac archaeological complex, your guide walks you unhurriedly through the engineering and daily life of the area in Inca times.
All private, at your own pace, with exclusive transport from your hotel.
